Nikolauss is a highly-acclaimed music producer hailing from Romania, renowned worldwide for his exceptional talent in the trance music genre. His passion and determination to make his mark in the industry have only grown stronger over the years, and he is now at the top of his game.

Like most trance enthusiasts, Nikolauss was immediately captivated by the genre after hearing his first track many years ago, and his love for discovering the intricacies of each track led him to experiment and eventually launch his first track 10 years ago. Since then, he has become a regular with top labels such as Subculture, GO Music, Regenerate Recordings, FSOE, Armada Captivating, Statement! (Armada), Amsterdam Trance, and more.

With an impressive discography boasting both singles and collaborations, Nikolauss has had several tracks that reached the Top 10 Trance on Beatport. These include “Lifdagar”, “We Are Not Alone”, “Time”, “Blaithin” (with John O’Callaghan), “Connected” (with Cold Blue), “Sensoji” (with Johan Gielen), “Saigon” (with Asteroid), “To The Stars” (with Peter Steele), and “Arya” (with Starpicker).

He has also performed abroad, playing at Luminosity Beach Festival (2019, 2023), Luminosity at the beach (2021), Amsterdam Dance Event – Luminosity pres. Paul van Dyk (2018), Amsterdam Dance Event – Luminosity – This is Trance (2019), Subculture Bangkok, Subculture Melbourne and smaller events in Chisinau, Moldova, where he has been a strong supporter of the local trance community.

Nikolauss’s unique sound has earned him the support of some of the biggest names in the industry, including Armin van Buuren, John O’Callaghan, Giuseppe Ottaviani, Paul van Dyk, Aly & Fila, Sean Tyas, Activa, John Askew, Manuel Le Saux, and many others.

As a fun fact, Sean Tyas famously nicknamed him “Mr. 140” when they casually met at a trance party in Italy, and the nickname has stuck ever since, cementing Nikolauss’s reputation for his unparalleled remixes and reworks.
